Lost & Found: How Does Your Museum Handle Valuable Items?
Hi everyone!
I’m currently reviewing and updating our Lost & Found procedures at a children’s museum, and I’d love to hear how other museums handle valuable or sensitive lost items.
We have a standard Lost & Found log, and our team generally does a good job of documenting regular lost items. Where we’ve run into some challenges is with items such as:
- Cell phones
- AirPods/headphones
- Wallets and purses
