Climbing Wall Injuries
Our museum has had a climbing wall for 7 years, and we recently increased the depth of the floor mats which dramatically decreased the number of injury incidents, but has not eliminated them. Most of our recent injuries have come from children tripping over their own feet and going head first into the climbing holds. We are considering removing this exhibit, and would love to hear if anyone else has grappled with the same decision. It would be a bummer to remove it because the kids love ...
