Winter-themed After-Hours Event Ideas
Hi all- we're looking to put on a winter-themed after-hours event for visitors this February. We do an after-hours summer carnival in July and a Halloween-themed evening in October, and they are an excellent blend of regular museum access with exciting, novel, and interactive games and activities. I was wondering if anyone else has ever run one in the winter and what sorts of activities you offer? Early thoughts include a "snowball" toss (think skee ball or your carnival bucket toss w/sn...

Interactives that require collaboration
I am working on an exhibit for a community center, and they want to promote collaboration. I am wondering if anyone here has or knows of interactives that require two people to operate (parent/child or two children), appropriate for children under 5. I'm looking for analog interactives, which we can recreate or purchase off-the-shelf. Thank you for your help with this!

Said: Perhaps the shapes could be made out of thick craft foam. I use the adhesive backed foam to secure them together the easiest. I have only used them for classroom use, not floor use, so I cannot speak to longevity.
