Policy & Practice around service & emotional support animals & museum animals
At Madison Children's Museum we have animals in our care & part of our exhibits - turtles, snake, chickens, and rabbits. We have always asked our visitors with service animals to not visit our rooftop where we keep the animals because the service animal might aggitate our animals. We have been receiving some push back from some visitors and are struggling to enforce the rule uniformly.

Said: We have some vinyl composite tiles in our museum that get grungy regardless of how often or well we clean them. Once a year we have them stripped, cleaned and refinished. This usually removes all the grime that gets sealed in.
