Simple, easy-to-learn tasks for volunteers?
I am hoping to boost up our varieties of simple, low entry threshold tasks that can be done by volunteers. While we have some volunteers able to be trained up to do many of the same tasks as a staff member might, we also have a good number of volunteers who aren't able to do all of those things. Emerging Museum in New York State - Charter & Collections Question
For the past year I've been working on establishing a children's museum in/around Kingston, NY. I've been gathering board members, researching and applying for funding, etc. I'm a bit lost regarding registering with NYSED. I applied for a certificate of incorporation, however, I was told that all museums - including children's museums - are required to apply for a provisional charter. In filling the paperwork, I am a little lost regarding "collections".
