Looking to Improve our Booking Systems for Groups, any advice?
I work for a museum with several K12 group experience options between our museum galleries, labs, and shows. Our K12 booking process has outgrown our (originally) simple systems with google form requests and a calendar. We've added staff, but It's taking far longer to book, confirm, prepare for, and bill our groups. And our reporting is a mess. Unlimited PTO
As a small museum who can't offer health insurance, we are looking for other benefits we can offer employees. For a while we have followed a fairly standard PTO policy where sick & holiday & PTO were bundled together with an average year allowance starting at 2 weeks and going up from there. Because of both the seasonal nature of some of our positions and the recognition of the importance of work-life balance, we are thinking of switching to an unlimited PTO policy.
