Said: We use wood pellets (like for a pellet stove). They do generate some dust, but not terrible, and they do get everywhere, but they are safe and can be switched out regularly.

Digging Box Material - What do you use for dirt?
Hello!
We are sourcing material to fill our indoor raised garden beds in our farm exhibit. We hope that the material would resemble dirt and be scoopable/pourable/diggable with garden tools. We would love something lower cost and easy to maintain. What material do you use in your exhibit dig bins? Any ideas for "clean" dirt?
