Abandoned Kiddos
Another unfortunate trend we're experiencing recently (along with destructive behavior), is coming across children, often very young ones, who are unattended for long stretches of time. We had a crying 18-month-old last week whose parent was so dismissive when they came to "retrieve" the child. A similar experience today of a child in a stroller who was alone for over 5 minutes, and once again the parent was dismissive that we were concerned.
