Said: As a lifeguard, we always used WeatherBug. You can set alerts based on your location. Accuweather also has a good tracking map, but I'm not sure if you can enable alert notifications for that one.

Closing outdoor spaces - lightning notifications
Hi all,
Our museum has a new top floor terrace that we're closing if there is lightning/thunder. Does anyone use an app to get notifications of when lightning is close? And if so, what radius around your location do you use to close your outdoor spaces?
Any input on how you close your outdoor spaces for inclement weather is welcome!
Many thanks,
Amy
