General Admission vs Memberships
Can anyone share any data you have on attendance #'s from general admission vs memberships? I have a solid estimate of total anticipated admissions, but the revenue will depend on the ratio of general admission tickets vs memberships which will attend multiple times/year for the one cost. Another way to word it is this: if we expect 30,000 "visits" each year, what % of those will be single tickets purchased at the door? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Choking Hazards
Hi all,
How do you approach small pieces for crafts/programs/etc. that can be deemed choking hazards for visitors under 3? Do you avoid small pieces altogether, do you have someone always staffed (say like a game or activity in an exhibit), or do you leave it in a higher place with a sign? I would love to hear your thoughts. We feel like we are missing out on connecting with older kids because we are really limiting ourselves in materials.

Said: We reopened in July of 2020. When looking at numbers, we compare everything to our 2019 numbers, since they were the last "normal" numbers that we had. Right now, we are trending at about 60%-70%.

Said: This is an interesting thread! Unfortunately, we have a very different dynamic at our museum as our Director does not vaccinate. While she answers to our Board of Directors, I don't see vaccines becoming required. (Our county is just un...
