Welcome to ACM Groupsite - ACM's Online Community!
ACM Groupsite is the Association of Children's Museums' central hub online. It's a space where children's museum staff, stakeholders, and partners can view upcoming events from ACM, network with other children's museum professionals, and ask for advice, share ideas, and access resources on our discussion boards.
The ACM Member Resource Community and Hand to Hand Community are benefits for ACM members. If you are interested in joining ACM, contact Membership@ChildrensMuseums.org.

Microscope Recommendations
Good day,
I am interested in purchasing a simple but kid friendly and tough, LCD microscope for the museum floor. Visitors will view biological and microplastic samples with this tool.
If you have experience with kid friendly microscopes, please let me know! Pros, cons, recommendations...Thank you :-)

FYI: New U.S. National Strategy for COVID Response
Hello All -
Yesterday, the White House released a new National Strategy for COVID Response in the United States. While the information is very high-level, I thought it might be useful for dissemination to staff and stakeholders to inform anticipatory messaging and planning for the next couple of months. As the plan is implemented, ACM will be keeping an eye out for policy that may directly impact children's museums operations, staff, and/or audiences.

Starting Camps
Hello!
My name is Lauren Taylor, Programs Coordinator for Wonderscope Children's Museum of Kansas City. We just moved to a brand new building and we finally have room to start camps. I was hoping to connect with others who have started camps or who have successfully ran camps. What are some things you wished you knew before starting your camp programs?
