Credit Card Fee's
How do you all handle credit card fees? Our admission is $6 and we have recently started a museum store with several items $1 - $3. We do not have the option to pass along CC fees in person. Our $1 snacks are the most popular, but we lose money when someone uses their CC to purchase them. Our board has discussed implementing a $5 minimum CC purchase but is divided. Another option was to add a snack punch card valued at $5 or $10, but that sounded like a headache.

Field Trip Chaperone Policies and Expectations
Hello wonderful world of Children's Museums!
I am from the Discovery Center at Murfree Spring in Tennessee. I'd consider us a medium-size museum as we've been operating for around 38 years now and our square footage is smaller, but our program offerings are large scale.
I reach out to the hive mind to ask about your Field Trip chaperone policies and expectations. We want to find new ways for our chaperones to engage with the students, hands-on exhibits, and guided program...
