Museum Facility Usage Guidelines--What Activities/Groups are Permitted?
Hi there! I had a Board Member ask if the GRCM has guidelines about how our museum can be used during rentals. We do not currently have any rules about this (outside of our Rental Packet that includes info about what items/behavior are not allowed), but we are curious if other organizations have formal guidelines on what types of activities can be held in their space? Organizational Structure
Hi Everyone,
We, here at Kohl Children's Museum, are doing a review of our organizational structure, and we're looking for advice. How do you structure front desk, museum floor, field trip, and birthday party responsibilities? What has been most efficient and flexible while not compromising customer service, membership/sales, the museum floor experience, and safety? What structure do you like best and why? What words of caution do you have for us?
