Solutions for Exhibits with Drawing Utensils
Hello!
We have an exhibit at DCM that encourages children and their families to "talk back" or draw using colored pencils and woodies (wax/wood crayons). We are trying to find an aesthetically pleasing solution for attaching the colored pencils to the exhibit so they cannot "walk away" and we don't end up with drawings on other exhibit areas. Has anyone solved this issue at your institution? We attempted to drill through the colored pencil and attach a mini bungy cord, but this is...

How many visitors are first-timers?
Do you measure how many of your ticket-buyers are there for the first time? We started tracking this after the pandemic, since we now require online reservations, and it was easy to make the question part of our online process.
In the first quarter of 2024, we're seeing about 37% of visitors are coming to play for the first time. Last year, for 2023, it was about 41%, and for 2022, it was about 45%. We only measure this on our full-price tickets and our MFA...
