Slate Wall Activities
Our museum has an outdoor slate wall where we used to let guests draw with chalk. Unfortunately, the chalk was also used to draw on the side of our building and other surfaces outside and cleanup became too cumbersome for our team. We have transitioned to water painting which is going well, but have some concerns about continuing that activity in the winter months. We don't want kids getting their clothes wet when it is freezing cold outside.
