Developing and Maintaining a Board of Directors for a Start Up Museum
I'm wondering if anyone can provide suggestions and/or reading resources regarding the make-up of a children's museum's Board of Directors. What types of professions/backgrounds make for a well-rounded board? What is the best way to recruit/interview board members? We are in a relatively small rural area. Thank you.

Hi all,
Our museum has a child protection policy and training in place for when children are in our care (summer camps, classes, workshops, etc), but we were wondering if there are any institutions that have procedures around what to do if you may have concerns about children in someone else's care while they are on your campus. We had an issue recently with adults who were exhibiting some worrying behavior with a child (assumed to be their own). Does anyone have any guidanc...
